Raised by monks in the far north since infancy where he trained as a fighter. He hopes by becoming an Adventurer he can discover the legendary Time Zero to fulfill a secret wish. He sports a red triangular tattoo on his cheek he’s uncomfortable talking about. With a strong sense of duty and unbound energy, he often blurts and is in motion. As the big brother to other orphans at the monastery he harbors a protective streak. Fantasy ADHD.
Chrono Misterion

A mute boy who communicates via chalkboard. He’s a gifted mage with a unique ability and command over mana. Given his sheltered and nomadic lifestyle he has no friends, making Kasla his first friend and brother figure. His apparent albinism draws unwanted attention, adding to his caution of strangers. Obedient and respectful, he’s astute and will do anything to protect loved ones. Found and adopted by Chesrire five years ago, his past is a mystery due to amnesia. Precious boy.
Chesrire Misterion
47yr | 180cm/6ft | Human/Part-Merperson?
A legendary cartographer who tries to keep a low profile. Chronically tired, stressed, superstitious, and done with antics, he is extremely protective of his adopted son Chrono. Often mistaken as part Merperson due to his shark-like teeth but claims to be fully human. Despite his guarded and exhausted appearance he’s knowledgeable and loyal, and a high ranking mage. Rather private, professional and solitary, he carries a silent burden of a past that haunts him. Tired dad.
Slime-san
Chrono’s beloved pet slime named by Chesrire. Unique compared to common slimes, he’s highly intelligent and protective of Chrono; possessive even. Chesrire trusts and treats him as a capable member of the family and traveling party. Suspected to be a reincarnated serial killer, but that’s just Kasla’s thoughts. He loves eating daffodils and wielding a shiv; sometimes simultaneously. May or may not have a body count. Loves snuggles from Chrono. Emotional support animal/bodyguard.

Syssmi “Mi-mi” Yosef

A lively, compassionate and responsible Adventurer who specializes in alchemy, creating a variety of potions as weapons and supplies. She takes Kasla under her wing to show him the ropes and happens to know Chesrire and Chrono. Great granddaughter of former Guildmaster, Yosef. She takes pride in the garden her late great grandmother cultivated. Leader to a three man team with Rio and Ood.

Hyman “Yosef” Yosef
82-85yr | 226.06cm/7’5ft | Human
Strong, hospitable and boisterous, a man who is the former Guildmaster of Simulan’s Adventurers’ Guild and Mi-mi’s great grandfather. He retired to be a dismemberer, harvesting monsters brought to the Guild. A legendary Adventurer known as The Lion of Simulan and was Chesrire’s former teammate. Loud and friendly, he commands an air of authority and shows his formidable side to threats. Long time widower and the subject of much fan mail and courting attempts.

Alexi “Lex” Jonesy
53yr | 195cm/6’4ft | Human
Playful, curious, poised, and cunning, he is the Assistant Guildmaster of Simulan’s Adventurers’ Guild. Appears irresponsible and even a smidge senile to make others lower their guard and maximize his tea time. A legendary Adventurer known as the Unmovable Tower and was Chesrire’s former teammate. Stronger than he appears, he enjoys a good battle and demonstration of skill. Has a known drinking tab thanks to Yosef using his name to order alcohol. Happy bachelor.

Aye-Aye
???yr | 70cm/2’3ft | Spirit-Homunculus
Serious, perceptive and blunt, a homunculus with a striking appearance. Guildmaster of Simulan’s Adventurers’ Guild for the past year. He is a thousands of years old wind spirit with no patience for nonsense and stupidity, often sounding like a tired old man as he complains and reprimands. His homunculus form is four years old and the result of Yosef’s work. How he came to work at the Guild is between Yosef and him. Hates paperwork, loves wine and apple desserts.
